Securing Health Data

New business models are currently emerging for data sharing.Advancements in telemedicine/mHealth, for instance, have led to an increased need for shared data systems to manage and access records. Additionally, a huge amount of data is being amassed through the Quantified Self movement that may be integrated for complete fitness/health management plans. These trends have led to new issues in data storage, security, compliance, and data warehousing. This panel will focus on strategies for addressing these new challenges and briefly touch on opportunities for monetizing health data that is accessible.
