Additionally, Invite-only Networking Receptions and Innovation Showcases will take place: The Innovation Showcase is aimed at connecting startup companies with the investment community to develop strategic partnerships and fundraising opportunities. It also provides companies high visibility and marketing presence at the conference via demo opportunities in the expo.

This year technologists, clinicians, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, researchers, public health officials, non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, and more will convene to accelerate the strategies for implementing technologies to advance towards a "Smart City-Healthy City" through the topics below:

True engagement that is personally distinctive and meaningful is required for creating a culture of health. A call for more natural and holistic care is rising, and integrative medicine is increasingly sought after by providers and consumers. Being combined with technologies and proven evidence of efficacy and safety, integrative therapy is nourishing each of us by engaging mobile solutions. Integrative medicine includes practices such as yoga, dance, meditation, ayurveda, acupuncture and more.

INNOVATION SHOWCASE

The invitation-only INNOVATION SHOWCASE returns for HTFIC2019 and is aimed at connecting startup companies with members of the investment community to develop strategic partnerships and fundraising opportunities. It also provides companies high visibility and marketing presence at the conference via demo opportunities in the expo.

Last year included 14 health technology startups and many investment firms in attendance, including Mayfield Fund, Illumina Ventures, Johnson & Johnson Innovations, Summation Health Ventures, and Khosla Ventures.
