Zion Shen, PhD

Dr. Zion Shen is a Silicon Valley based tech investor and serial entrepreneur. He is co-founder of HerbHeal, a US based startup developing natural products for the treatment of chronic diseases. Dr. Shen is founder and CEO of Ufrate Inc. an incubator and investment fund with 100 million USD under management focusing on early stage investment. Ufrate has incubated over 100 high tech companies so far, helping startups with company strategy, operation, capital investment and CEO coaching. It is particularly active in the US- China space. Previously, Dr. Shen was a senior engineer at Cadence Design Systems. He got his PHD in Computer Science in Iowa State University, and bachelor degree from Tsinghua University majoring in electrical engineering.
