Mobile Health Apps Featured at May 20th Health Technology Conference

Mobile Health Apps will be the topic of one of the 15 panel discussions at the upcoming annual conference sponsored by the Health Technology ForumThe conference will be held May 20th in downtown San Francisco.  

The panel‘s title is Be Healthy Apps – Eat, Drink, Play, Work and Sleep and will take a look at what the future looks like with demonstrations of the latest mHealth tools and technologies which are improving healthcare.

Moderating the panel will be Caricia Catalina, PhD, Faculty member and mHealth Researcher at UC Berkeley and Sr. Researcher at InSTEDD, which researches new types of technology support for emergencies, diseases and disasters.

Shine.3Panelists include Matthew Diamond, MD, PhD, who serves as the Medical Advisor to Misfit Wearables, the innovative developer of designer health monitoring tools backed by former Pepsi and Apple CEO John Sculley.   Also on the panel will be Dr. Hubert Zajicek, MD, Executive Director, of Health Wildcatters, a Dallas-based incubator of health technologies including Socrates Health Solutions, a non-invasive glucose monitoring system, PT PAL, which improves adherence to physical therapy regimens and many more.

The one day HTF Conference will be held on May 20th at the Parc 55 Windham Hotel at Union Square in San Francisco and will feature top Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, Stanford and University of California researchers and senior execs from Cisco, Kaiser and many other health tech leaders.   In addition to the session on mobile health apps,  other key topics include:
