Workshop: Design Thinking for Elderly Care
The number of Americans over age 65 will more than double by 2050.
The tech community is applying the principles of Design Thinking to create devices that will monitor and motivate an older population to maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating well, exercising, being compliant with medication regimens, and engaging more fully in their life. The Design Thinking approach is also being used to integrate such tech advances into the daily lives of the population and the daily workflow of health care providers.
