Building Resilient Communities for Better Outcomes

Despite advances in preparing communities for medical disease outbreaks, including natural disasters, social and medical infrastructure barriers exist that prevent communities from responding quickly or efficiently enough. This has tangible global health implications. This panel will discuss the social and infrastructure barriers that impair community abilities to respond to healthcare problems, highlight what is working, and identify areas where technology solutions are needed to solve community health problems.
